ある月曜日、木には七個の林檎が生っていた。彼は、林檎をひとつ取って、新開地に行った。彼は、通行人の男に声をかけた。「おっちゃん、家で取れた林檎要らへん?」男が返事した。「いや、ええわ。」約二時間後、少年は、風邪を引いたような感じがして、家に帰った。妹が彼に言った。「お兄ちゃん、この林檎食べたら?風邪治るでぇ。」富士男は林檎を食べた。
翌朝、火曜日、富士男は回復していた。彼は、林檎をひとつ、木から取って、再度、新開地に向かった。彼は、ひとりの女に声をかけた。「おばちゃん、林檎買ってくれへん?」女が尋ねた。「なんぼ?」少年は答えた。「千円でどう?特別な自家製の林檎やで。」女が答えた。「止めとくわ!」三時間ぐらいして、少年は、また風邪を引いた気がしたので家に帰った。妹が言った。「お兄ちゃん、また林檎食べぇー。治ったらえーねー。」富士男は林檎を食べた。そして症状は良くなった。
