The Human Language Specifications

Once upon a time, there was an engineer who thought about defining the specification of human language. He asked himself two questions, “If the human language is designed by an engineer who has super authority, will everyone follows to the specification strictly when he or she writes scripts? If everyone speaks based on the definition, do we no longer need to read the minds of others?”






人類言語仕様書

ある時、ひとりの技術者が、人間の言葉を仕様書として記述することについて考えていた。彼は、二つの質問を自らに問いかけた。「もし、人間の言葉が、最高権威を持つ1人の技術者によって設計されたら、皆、その仕様に厳格に従って、文章を書くだろうか？ もし、皆が、その定義に基づいて話せば、もはや我々は、人の心を察する必要もないのだろうか？」


人類言語仕様書

人類（じんるい）：the human
言語（げんご）：a language
仕様書（しようしょ）：a document that describes the specification of a system
ある時（あるとき）：Once upon a time
ひとり：one (person)
技術者（ぎじゅつしゃ）：an enginner
人間の言葉(にんげんの ことば): human language
記述する（きじゅつする）：to write a definition, an explanation, a specification, etc. descriptively
考える（かんがえる）：to think
最高権威(さいこうけんい): super authority
持つ(もつ): to have
権威を持つ：to have an authority
1人の技術者(ひとりの ぎじゅつしゃ): an engineer
最高権威を持つ1人の技術者: an engineer who has super authority
設計(せっけい): design, designing
設計する(せっけい する): to design
設計される(せっけい される): it is designed by someone
設計された(せっけい された): it was designed by someone
皆(みんな): everybody
仕様(しよう): specification
厳格に(げんかくに): strictly (adverb)
従う(したがう): to follow someone, to obey to someone
従って、(したがって、): by following it, by obeying it
文章(ぶんしょう): script, sentence
書く(かく): to write
書くだろうか？: Will they write it?, Will he/she writes it?

もし：if
定義(ていぎ): the definition
基づく(もとずく): to be based in something
話す(はなす): to tell something, to speak
基づいて話す(もとずいて はなす): to tell/speak based on something
もし、話せば：If you speak
我々(われわれ): we / our / us ( expression for writing reports, speech, etc. This expression is not friendly or casual)
人(ひと): human, human being, a man, a person
心(こころ): mind, heart, spirit
察する(さっする): to read one's mind, to guess one's mind, to imagine one's mind, to sympathize  with someone, to try understand someone's circumstances without a word, to try to help someone in silence without a word
必要(ひつよう): need
無い(ない): there is not, it does not exists
もはや、する必要も無い: We no longer need to do it.
だろうか？: Is it? , Will it?

Paperwork Throughout every stage of the Japanese medical care system, from government offices and service providers to the people receiving care, seem to spend the vast majority of their time filling out a tremendous amount of paperwork. Unfortunately if a person who receives medical services is unable or cannot manage his or her documents, then their family will receive mountains of paperwork from both the government offices and service providers. I think that the Japanese government should headhunt talented people from advanced companies such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, and so on.
