Retirement Age

Retirement Age Otoko Mimizu was thinking about early retirement from her company. She was 55 years old at the time and had been suffering from stomach problems for many years. One day, Otoko called the pension division of the company. She asked, "Hello! I'm wondering what is the minimum retirement age for employees." A representative answered, "You can retire at any time, however, you will not be able to receive pension until you turn 60. Early retirement is age 60 or 30 years of work; Pension payment will be at a reduced rate, determined by our division. Full retirement is age 65 or 35 years of work." Otoko finally decided to retire at 60. She thought that she would be able to simplify her life and reduce the life cost.
