American English And British English

American English And British English Do you think most Americans can speak British English or something very close to it? Or vice versa? Today, I posted this question in my moment page on Hello Talk.  Here are some comments from people.  サイレン (Sylene): I can't speak for British English but American English has changed , evolved so much that , there is just too much too much slang and a gap between British and American English. There's a reason most people think British people sound more Intelligent compared to American English.
