Even A devil may cry

Even A devil may cry

Once upon a time, there was a devil who often cried when drinking.

Since ancient times, the devil had appeared at festivals here and there, and scared the children.

However, recently, the children were no longer afraid when they saw him, but he didn't know why.

The devil was so sad about that, that he began to drink and cry in the lodge every day.

One evening, while the devil was crying, he heard a voice from the window of the lodge.

The devil noticed that a boy was looking inside from the window.

The boy asked him, "Sir, why are you crying?"

The devil answered, "I visit many festivals but children never fear me at all.

I am already useless, so I have no reason to live."

The boy went home, and talked his younger sister about it.

His sister said, "I pity him," and began to cry.

Together they went to the park, and talked to the neighborhood children about the devil.

The children talked about what they would be able to do for it.

The next morning, while the devil was having his breakfast, he heard the voices of the children playing in the park near his lodge.

The devil finished his meal in three minutes, then left for the park.

He found the children, and said "Hello!" to them. To the devil's surprise, as soon as the children saw him, they screamed, and were afraid.

Everyone trembled, and a girl began to cry.

The devil was surprised and asked them, "Oh! Are you afraid of me?"

A boy came near to the devil, and said, "Sir, it's good to see that everyone is afraid of you!"

The devil replied to the boy, "Thank you! Now, my life has a meaning! It's good for me to live."

A teardrop ran down from the devil's eye.
