The Seventh Day
Once upon a time, there was a man who had been lonely ever since he could remember. He always had each meal alone, went shopping alone, watched movies alone, traveled alone and slept alone. He wished to have friends but had no idea how to make friends.
One day, on a Monday, he had lunch at a bakery near his apartment. There was a notice on the table, saying, "We've just begun Facebook! Please add us to your friend lists now! We will send you a coupon code for a free drink!" He was excited about this and registered the bakery as a friend on Facebook." The man got his first friend in his life.
On Tuesday, he had lunch at a ramen shop near the bakery. There was a QR code on the last page of the menu, saying, "Please add us to your Facebook account as a friend. You will receive our offers every week!" The man scanned the QR code with his iPhone. He made his second friend.
On Wednesday, the man had supper at a curry house near the ramen shop. He saw another QR code on the wall. He got his third friend.
On Sunday, the man had breakfast at a coffee shop near a church. He got his seventh friend through the QR code which was printed on the newspaper. He was very happy because he was able to make seven friends in only one week.
After breakfast, he somehow felt like he wanted to attend the church's worship service. So, he entered the church. After two readings of scriptures and singing songs of praise, the minister preached. During the sermon, the man heard a phrase that caught his attention, "God blessed the seventh day!"

水曜日、男はラーメン屋の近くのカレーハウスで夕食を取った。彼は、壁に、またひとつ、QRコードを見つけた。３人目の友達を、ゲットした。
日曜日がやって来た。男は教会の近くにある喫茶店でモーニングを食べた。彼は新聞に掲載されていたQRコードを通じて、七人目の友人を見つけた。たった一週間で七人もの友達が出来たので、彼はとても幸せだった。
朝食後、彼は、何となく礼拝に出席したい気持ちになって、教会に入ってみた。聖書の第一と第二朗読、そして何曲かの賛美歌斉唱の後、牧師の説教が始まった。その中で、あるフレーズが、男の耳にとまった。「神は第七日目を祝福されました！」
