Be active and passive at the same time
Once upon a time, there was a man who was active and passive at the same time. One evening, he wrote in his diary, “My friend's brother taught me how to use iPhone. I was taught how to use iPhone by my friend's brother.” Another evening, he wrote, “One of my American friends helped me with my English by rephrasing my sentences with natural expressions. I was helped with my English from one of my friends rephrasing my sentences into natural expressions.”
「友達のお兄さんが、iPhoneの使い方を、教えてくれた。友達のお兄さんに、iPhoneの使い方を、教えてもらった。」
