Depending on Cars
車依存

田舎暮らしで車を持っていますが、最近は家に居るので車に乗ることが少なくなりました。今はスーパーも散歩を兼ねて歩いて行きます。もしかして、車依存から解放されるかな?

This is my original version:

Depending on Cars

I have a car living in the countryside. However, I recently drive my car lees often because I usually stay at home. So, I even go to supermarkets on foot when I take a walk outside. I'm wondering if I can be free from depending on my car.

Here are two revised versions suggested by readers. Thank you very much!

By Frank (USA):
As someone living in the countryside, I have to have a car. However, I recently drive my car less often because I usually stay at home. I even go to supermarkets on foot when I take a walk outside. I'm wondering if I can be free from having to depend on my car.
(*"Depending" is also okay to say but maybe nicer to say "having to depend.")

By Jeremy (USA):

I live in the countryside, and while I have a car, I find myself driving less and less these days because I usually stay at home. I even go places like the supermarket on foot when I'm out talking a walk. I can't help but wonder if I'll ever be completely free from depending on my car?
