If you live in a countryside in Japan, check the population of your prefecture and divide it by the number of infected people, then compare it with Tokyo. For example, there is a prefecture with 10 new infected people in 700 thousand population. Most restaurants and shops are still open.

知事 (ちじ) : the governor of a prefecture, state, etc.

触れる (ふれる) : to touch, to mention (verb)

触れた : You touched it. You mentioned it.

触れたい : You want to touch it. You want to mention it.

触れたくない : You don't want to touch it. You don't want to mention it.

知事が触れたくない : The governor doesn't want to touch it. The governor doesn't want to mention it.

感染 (かんせん) : infection

感染者 (かんせんしゃ) : an infected person

感染者数 (かんせんしゃすう) : the number of infected people

割る (わる) : to divide (verb)

割ってみる (わってみる) : to try to divide (verb)

比べる (くらべる) : to compare (verb)

Paperwork Throughout every stage of the Japanese medical care system, from government offices and service providers to the people receiving care, seem to spend the vast majority of their time filling out a tremendous amount of paperwork. Unfortunately if a person who receives medical services is unable or cannot manage his or her documents, then their family will receive mountains of paperwork from both the government offices and service providers. I think that the Japanese government should headhunt talented people from advanced companies such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, and so on.
