Once upon a time, there was a man who restricted himself to minimum activities in his daily life. He had many things which he liked but he did not do any of them except few things which he could not live without. People around him often laughed at him, saying “You are stingy, boring man! What do you live for?” However, he seemed to not care about what people thought about him. He just followed to his principle.

ある時、自らの日常生活において、最低限の事しかしないように戒めている男がいた。彼は好きな事は沢山有ったのだが、それが生きてくのに欠かせない場合を除いて、一切実行しなかった。周りの者達は、「君はケチで、つまらん男だね。何の為に生きてるの？」と言って彼の事をしょっ中笑い者にした。でも彼は人々が彼の事をどう思っているかなんて気にしていない様子だった。彼はただ自分の原則に従っているだけだった。
