Steamed Towels

I like to put a steamed towel on my face. It relieves some of my facial troubles. I am suffering from various problems such as eye strain, dry eyes, nasal inflammation, dry skin, and so on. So, I put a wet towel in the microwave on 600W power for 30 seconds. Then, cover the entire face with the steamed towel for several minutes. After that, I feel very comfortable and relaxed.

私は、自分の顔面に、蒸しタオルを被せるのが好きです。実は、いろいろな問題に悩まされていて、例えば、眼精疲労やドライアイ、また、鼻炎や乾燥肌などです。それで、濡らしたタオルを電子レンジで、600ワットで30秒間チンして、その蒸しタオルで顔全体を数分間覆います。そうすると、とても気持ちが良くなって、リラックス出来ます。

蒸す (むす) : to steam (verb)

蒸した (むした) : You steamed something.

タオル : a towel (noun)

蒸しタオル (むしたおる) : a steamed towel (noun)

私 (わたし) : I / my / me

自分 (じぶん) : oneself, myself/yourself/himself/herself (depends on the context)

顔 (かお) : your face

自分の顔 (じぶんのかお) : one's face, my/your/his/her face (depends on the context)

面 (めん) : a surface (noun)

顔面 (がんめん) : the face (literally "the surface of your face")

自分の顔面 (じぶんのがんめん) : one's face, my/your/his/her face (depends on the context)

被せる (かぶせる) : to cover something with something else (verb)

自分の顔面に被せる : to cover your face with something (verb)

蒸しタオルを被せる : to cover something with a steamed towel (verb)

好き (すき) : You like it.

蒸しタオルを被せるのが好き : You like to cover something with a steamed towel.

私は、好きです。: I like it.

実は (じつは) : to tell the truth

いろいろな : many kinds of, various (adjective)

問題 (もんだい) : a problem

いろいろな問題 : various problems, many troubles

悩む (なやむ) / 悩まされる (なやまされる) : to suffer from a problem or trouble, to be troubled, to be distressed, to be bothered by someone or something (verb)

悩ます (なやます) : to cause someone trouble, to bother someone (verb)

悩まされていて、.... : You have been troubled and/then/so ............ (situation) 

例えば (たとえば) : for example
眼精疲労 (がんせいひろう) : eye strain (noun)

ドライアイ : dry eyes (noun)

眼精疲労やドライアイ : eye strain and/or dry eyes (depends on if the phrase is positive or negative )

また : and also

鼻炎 (びえん) : nasal inflammation

乾燥 (かんそう) : drying something (noun)
肌 (はだ) : skin
乾燥肌 (かんそうはだ) : dry skin

.......など : .... and so on, ... etc.

鼻炎や乾燥肌など : nasal inflammation, dry skin, and so on/etc.

濡らす (ぬらす) : to wet something, to moisten something, to get something wet (verb)

濡らした : You wetted something.

濡れたタオル : a wet towel (noun)

濡らしたタオル : a wet towel, a towel which you have just wetted (noun)

レンジ : a gas range, a microwave oven

ガスレンジ : a gas range

電子 (でんし) : an electron (noun), electronic (adjective)

電子レンジ : a microwave oven (literally "an electronic range")

600ワット (ろっぴゃくわっと) : 600-watt

30秒間 (さんじゅうびょうかん) : for thirty seconds

チン！: ting!, a beep sound from a microwave

チンする : to heat food in a microwave oven, to microwave food

600ワットでチンする : to put food in the microwave on 600W power

30秒間チンする : to put food in the microwave for 30 seconds

チンして、.... : to heat food in a microwave oven and/then ........

その蒸しタオル : that steamed towel, the steamed towel which has already been mentioned

顔 (かお) : face

全体 (ぜんたい) : the whole, the entire

顔全体 : the entire face

数分間 (すうふんかん) : several minutes

覆う (おおう) : to cover (verb)

顔を覆う : to cover your face (verb)

タオルで覆う : to cover something with a towel (verb)

顔をタオルで覆う : to cover your face with a towel (verb)

そうする : to do it, to do it in that way

気持ち (きもち) : your mind, your feeling

良い (よい) : good, fine

気持ちが良い : comfortable

とても気持ちが良い : very comfortable

気持ちが良くなる : to feel comfortable (verb)

気持ちが良くなって、......... : to feel comfortable and/then/so ........... (verb), You felt comfortable and/then/so ......

リラックス : relaxing, relaxation (noun)

出来る (できる) : You can do it, It can be done, It is possible.

リラックスする : to relax (verb)

リラックス出来る : You can relax.

使う (つかう) : to use something

使った(つかった) : You used it, You have used it

こと: an event, a situation, something you have just mentioned

使ったこと: your experience of using it (noun clause)

有る(ある) : There is a thing. You have it.

使ったことが有る: You have used it. You have experienced using it.

蒸しタオル(むしたおる) : a steamed towel

So, I put a wet towel in the microwave on 600W power for 30 seconds.

microwave : 電子レンジ (マイクロ波を使うのでマイクロウェーヴと言います。)

I put a wet towel in the microwave : 私は濡れタオルを電子レンジに入れる

on 600W : 600ワットで

for 30 seconds : 30秒間







Then, cover the entire face with the steamed towel for several minutes.

After that, I feel very comfortable and relaxed.
