Hashijutsu Episode-1. A Hidden Martial Art

Episode 1: A Hidden Martial Art

It was an extremely hot day in 2007. I was taking a nap on the carpet in my house when I suddenly felt my life being threatened by a presence in the room. It seemed that something had stealthily entered. I strained my ears, trying to hear what was making the noise.

I slowly opened my eyes, turned my face to the right, and then I saw it. I jumped up from the couch and rushed to the kitchen to find a weapon. The first thing I grabbed was a pair of chopsticks.

After a hard battle, I finally claimed victory over my enemy. I picked it up with the chopsticks and chucked it out of the house. The enemy I had fought was a giant centipede, as large as the Hawaiian giant centipedes.

Although I won, I realized my index finger was extremely worn, and the skin was red. The problem was the length of the weapon. Yes, the chopsticks were too short compared to the enemy. That day, I founded a new martial art and named it "Hashijutsu."
