Paperwork

Paperwork Throughout every stage of the Japanese medical care system, from government offices and service providers to the people receiving care, seem to spend the vast majority of their time filling out a tremendous amount of paperwork. Unfortunately if a person who receives medical services is unable or cannot manage his or her documents, then their family will receive mountains of paperwork from both the government offices and service providers. I think that the Japanese government should headhunt talented people from advanced companies such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, and so on. Then develop a think tank to consider and review how to improve the overall system.

Medicine

---------------------------------- X-Ray  Once upon a time, there was a woman who had just immigrated to Japan. One morning, she had some pain in her right shoulder. After lunch, she went to Hello Talk Clinic. There were some written instructions for the x-ray on the wall but she could not read kanji. She asked a nurse to read the instructions aloud.  The nurse read aloud, "For the patients who have X-ray examinations: Please follow the directions as you enter the room. Please, notify us if you are pregnant. Please, do not touch equipments in the room. Hello Talk Orthopedic Clinic"  The woman understood the instructions and thanked the nurse. In the evening, the woman went to a coffee shop and saw the nurse who had helped her at the clinic earlier that day. The woman said hello to the nurse and asked her if it was okay to sit at the same table. The nurse said, “Sure!” They had a good time talking and became friends. The woman was very happy because she found her first fri...
