A Little Apple Boy Once upon a time in Kobe, Japan, there was a little boy who sold home grown apples in the Shinkaichi Arcade. His name was Fujio. He lived with his mother and younger sister in a small apartment. He grew some apples on an apple tree in the front yard in of their apartment. His mother was sick, so he and his sister took care of the tree. One day, on a Monday, they had seven apples on the tree. He took one and went to Shinkaichi. He said to a man, "Sir, would you like a home grown apple?" The man replied, "No, thanks!" About two hours later, the boy felt he might have gotten a cold. So, he went back home. His sister told him, "Fujio, why don't you eat this apple? You will get better soon." Fujio ate the apple. The next morning, Tuesday, Fujio was fine.
